According to the World Economic Forum, Lesotho is ranked first in Africa in bridging the gender gap, and eighth in the world ahead of Britain and the U.S.

GIWC celebrated International Women's Day yesterday, albeit a day later, with Alabaster Box, an internationally renowned gospel acappella music quartet. It was a gathering of women who came to meet and mingle as they celebrated a day of great significance for women around the world. A pleasant morning for GIWC members and their guests in the company of musical gentlemen.
Wishing you a wonderful (belated) International Women's Day!
I loved Lesotho called Basutoland when I was a child and learned to ride Basuto ponies without saddles! Beautiful place and beautiful people.
