Gastronomy in Ghana: Chase Restaurant & Lounge

You may have seen the huge billboards around Accra and wondered what they were advertising...Chase is a newly-opened restaurant in Labone opposite Labone Coffee Shoppe. It has a casual section that serves a wide range of fast foods, with an outside area and inside air-conditioned section.
 Their menu offers light snacks and starters from grilled calamari, salads, sandwiches and hamburgers, to grilled chicken, shawarmas and pizzas. A light dessert menu offering; cheesecake, ice cream, a chocolate dessert and coffees. There is also an all-day breakfast menu. We went for Sunday lunch, and the entire place was full, further proof of how much Accra's burgeoning dining scene needs more restaurants of this sort.  It has large premises, with the more formal dining area 'The Lounge' slightly off the diner section, which offers more of a formal dining experience together with an extensive sushi menu. Chase is definitely drawing the crowds, and we hope they maintain the level of service offered. Quick service, good food  and family-friendly ; a new and interesting addition to Accra's dining scene.
