Gastronomy in Ghana: Il Cavaliere Pazzo

Il Cavaliere Pazzo has been open for over two years and whether you're there for drinks after work, for a meal or taking in a polo match, it's the ideal all-round place.  Themed around polo; the napkin holders are horseshoes- adds a nice touch, and both floors of the restaurant open up to the Accra Polo grounds.

I love the architecture and the decor is extremely well done - soft leather armchairs with wood panelling on the walls that give the lounge section a warm and luxurious feel. Relaxed ambiance, wonderful for cocktails - they make a good Cosmopolitan; with lounge beats in the background - it really is a great place to eat out at or meet up.
The cuisine is Italian with a varied menu, from prawn starters to gnocchi, ravioli and various fish and meat dishes. The service is quick and friendly, and one of the few places in Accra where the waiters are au fait enough with the menu to advise patrons accordingly.

  1. Restaurant is well laid out, though the bar and lounge area is a bit small. The food, unfortunately, does not match the decor and is over priced in relation to gastronomical quality.
