Places in Ghana: Marvels Mini Golf

The mid-term break came and went quietly and we were not for a moment stuck for things to do.  There is plenty to do in Accra with young kids, at least up until the tweenie age - just a matter of knowing where to go.

And this does not have anything to do with giving kids money and letting them run riot at Accra Mall; a pet peeve of mine.
Sunday afternoon saw us play a spot of mini golf in Dworwulu. Marvels Mini Golf is a newly-opened 18 hole mini golf course and just what was required to keep the kids entertained for about two hours before sitting down for a treat of waffles and ice cream. They have a simple menu of waffles, hot dogs and baked goods and seating areas inside and out on their expansive patio.The golf clubs are appropriately sized for different ages and even include small plastic ones for really young kids. A good way to spend an afternoon, just don't forget your hats as it can get extremely hot out there!
